Remembering Snowmageddon

My car in front of my house

Five years ago Washington DC was digging out of it's second snow storm in less than five days. I didn't go to work for a week because the Metro didn't have any above ground stations open.

So on throw back Thursday here are few pictures and videos of one the worst winters DC has every had.

Snow from the first storm

Early morning with it still snowing

A plow trying to plow the snow.

Part of the beauty of snow. This was between storms.

One of the best videos from the storm. The sun causes a huge chunk of snow to fall off a roof.

This one gives you the feel of what it was like to be out in the snow.
