Southwest Waterfront Fireworks Festival 2013

Here's highlights from the Southwest Waterfront Fireworks Festival 2013. This is the grand finale.

Here's a little more about this year's festival:

The Southwest Waterfront Fireworks Festival is one of the highlights of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. This year boasts more than eight hours of family-friendly entertainment and the event has expanded and will be bigger than ever, stretching over three blocks on the Southwest Waterfront of Washington DC.

The free festival features free music, water-related activities, cultural experiences, and four performance areas featuring live entertainment. This year's fireworks are a special display, presented by the City of Nagaoka, renowned throughout Japan for its spectacular fireworks festival. The fireworks illuminate the water, with best viewing at the Southwest Waterfront promenade at 600 Water Street, SW or from East Potomac Park.
