2Political Episode 74

2PP074 - 11 September 2012

2Political Podcast Episode 74 is now available. You can listen to it or download it from the podcast site, 2political.com. You can leave comments there as well as download or listen to any episode (you can access the five most recent episodes from the list on the right side of my blog).

We recorded this episode only four days before Arthur posted it—an improvement on last time (by one day, but hey, we'll take improvement where we can find it). We start with some of our usual banter, starting with our respective appliance problems. Then it's on to convention speeches, starting with President Obama's. Then, it's on to Romney, with Arthur offering a little compare and contrast. He mentioned Fox's reporting on speech ratings and he said it was President Obama's, but of course he meant President Clinton's speech.

Near the end, we talk about the economy, why the Republican proposals are doomed to fail and the irrationality of much of the discussion of the economy and economic policy. We had a few Skype issues at times; Arthur edited some out, but couldn't remove them all.

Please leave a comment (anyone's welcome—agree or disagree!), or you can ring the 2Political Comment line on 206-350-3982.
