Saw a great concert at Wolf Trap on Thursday: Mary Chapin Carpenter. She was excellent. She opened the concert in a very interesting way. She came out by herself and started singing. Then one by one the members of her band came out. She would bow to them and then they would start playing. A very fun night and it wasn't too hot either.
