How to loose a billion

No I’m sorry make that $12 billion. Here’s a link to the story in the Post. Ambassador Paul Bremer was on the Hill testifying about this. I think of all the terrible decisions this guy made in realtion to Iraq. I guess not being able to account for $12 billion can be added to the list. I love his response on de-Baathification:

“It was the right policy, but poorly implemented,” Bremer said.

Gee Mr. Ambasador who might have been responsible for that implementation. Oh yes that would have been you.

Also today yet another helicopter has crashed in Baghdad. It seems to be open season on American troops. And with the surge there will be even more American targets to shoot at.
